Situated in the grounds of Scoil Bhride national school, Ballydehob, we are here for you Monday to Friday.

The aim of our playgroup and after-school service is:

• to bring together the young of the community,
• to share with equal opportunity,
• and to play and learn under guidance.

We have a wonderful facility and provide childcare in a bright, safe and fun atmosphere. All children in the community from two and a half years to twelve are welcome, and from 2010 we are able to offer the new free EECE pre-school year.

We are regulated by the HSE and our affordable rates are further reduced by the governments existing subvention scheme. If you would like your child to attend please contact us and we’ll give you all the details.

9am – 1pm each day. 1pm – 3pm extra hours.

Playgroup is a vital part of early education and we help children prepare for junior school, learn to play, and be part of a group with new friends. Our playgroup is creative, imaginitive, professionally managed, and designed to encourage the best development for your child.

	2pm – 6pm each day.
	Our homework club and afterschool service is available to all children of primary school age, and our qualified care staff organise activities according to age and development stage. Cooking, art, sports tournaments, baking, building, and movies and popcorn on Fridays are all part of the fun that helps to keep young minds stimulated.

SUMMER CAMPS, EVENTS and our CRECHE SERVICE

Apart from our playgroup and afterschool services, we also organise summer camps and special events. We also plan to open our new Creche later this year and are constantly reviewing how we might enhance or expand our services. We welcome input from parents, encourage participation and feedback, and strongly believe in community spirit. Ultimately what makes us happy is seeing the children who come to our playschool developing and flourishing, and enjoying themselves in the process.
